LOGO DESIGNS
One Town, One Product Philippines
OTOP is a priority stimulus program for Micro, Small, and Medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) as government's intervention to drive inclusive local economic growth. The program enables localities and communities to determine, develop, support, and promote products or services that are rooted in its local culture, community, resource, creativity, connection, and competitive advantage.
I was commissioned by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in February 2024 to redesign OTOP's logo. The new design is intended to complement the Department of Tourism's "Love the Philippines" campaign. As such, the logo is designed to be bright and colourful to reflect the country's vibrant culture. The letters of the acronym are segmented with each piece containing products, native fruits and flora, as well as symbolisms of services that the Philippines is known for. The overall look of the logo is designed to look inviting, giving a glimpse into the richness and diversity of the country's culture, and the numerous world-class products the Philippines has to offer.
