STARBUCKS ASIA PACIFIC

Commissioned by Starbucks Asia Pacific, this piece was presented to Starbucks Korea as a gift for their 25th anniversary celebration in July 2024.

The artwork features their iconic Siren in an oasis blossoming with mugunghwa (Korea's national flower), wearing a traditional norigae and maedeup on her waist. These traditional Korean accessories symbolize peace, unity, and good fortune. The color of the norigae and maedeup further emphasizes the 'silver anniversary' marking 25 years of coffee excellence in Korea. The painting also incorporates the crane, symbolizing joy, and the tiger, which represents courage and serves as the emblem for the Asia Pacific coffee region for Starbucks.
